The Student Society for Stem Cell Research was founded in August of 2003. The SSSCR network spans over 10 countries, 25 U.S, states and 100 institutions consisting of students, researchers, patient advocates, and policy makers united by the purpose of finding treatments and cures to debilitating conditions. We believe that stem cell research will revolutionize the field of medicine. With a coordinated and cooperative global effort, we can advance stem cell research in the most efficient manner.Basically, the Student Society for Stem Cell Research is an international organization encompassing universities all over. Our chapter will focus on educating ourselves and our peers about stem cells and the related issues in a fun, interactive way.Whether you have any knowledge of stem cell science or not, as long as you support the cause of advancing this field of research that has high potential to solve many of today's ailments, or even if you don't have a view on the issue, please join!
