I was able to put the iBOT (http://www.ibotnow.com/) through its paces a few months ago. Here is a mash-up of the short videos we took while I was testing it out.
Eugene has a strain in his neck as result of continously using his mouse stick to the left while accessing a computer, book or remote control.
A motorised arm was used to move the wheelchair controller to the back of his wheelchair when he accessed things like the computer. This meany he did not have to turn to the left constantly and helped his neck.
The Genie+ is a powered wheelchair controller that integrates driving the chair with mobile phone access, computer mouse control and control of an external device using the same joystick (or other input device).
This, my friends, is the sweetest wheelchair around. The Gryphon Shield, designed by Jesse Leaman, is loaded with more features than Snoop Dogg\'s Escalade. It\'s got a rear-view camera, exterior and interior lights, built-in air conditioning, storage compartments, a water tank, a webcam, and a laptop equipped with WiFi, a DVD player, and voice- activated software to control it. Oh, and it\'s an electric wheelchair that can tool around at a pretty good clip to boot.
